Public Entity Partners is pleased to offer the 2023 Law Enforcement Liability Risk Management Conference Scholarship to provide financial assistance in attending the conference on May 1-3, 2023, in Deadwood, South Dakota. This conference is presented by the Legal and Liability Risk Management Institute (LLRMI).
As a result of public image related to law enforcement, state legislatures and the U.S. Congress are considering and passing measures that impact the high-risk, critical tasks in law enforcement. Today, more officers are criminally charged in the use of force events than any other time in the history of modern policing. At no time has risk management, with respect to the high-risk tasks in law enforcement been more critical. Managing risk in today's environment not only protects civil liability, it may also save officers the possibility of criminal charges and the loss of their career. This year's conference will focus on how to manage risk and control civil and criminal liability for officers as well as controlling civil liability for agencies.
Who Should Attend:
Law Enforcement Personnel, Risk Managers, Safety Directors, Claims Personnel and Policy Makers.
