Congratulations to Claims Staffers

After 25 years of working with local government employees as part of Public Entity (PE) Partners’ claims department, Michele Williams retired on September 30th. As the workers’ compensation claims supervisor, Michele was responsible for the workload of each of the nine workers’ compensation adjusters, in addition to working directly with claimants and members. PE Partners members who have had the opportunity to work with Michele know that she brings a sense of calm and consistency to everything she does.

Police Scholarship Recipients Announced

Public Entity (PE) Partners announced its inaugural Police Risk Management Institute Scholarship in August, which provides a reimbursement for police officers who attend the Law Enforcement Liability Risk Management Conference. This conference offers training and expert services for law enforcement, jails and corrections employees, insurance pools, risk managers, and attorneys in the areas of legal and liability risk management. The 2021 conference will be held in Franklin this month.

PRIMA Institute Scholarship Recipients

Public Entity (PE) Partners recently awarded PRIMA Institute Scholarships to recipients in each of Tennessee’s three divisions. These scholarships provide financial assistance to qualified individuals to attend the annual Public Risk Management Association (PRIMA) Institute, an educational program for risk management professionals that explores best practices, emerging trends and current techniques.
