PEP's Exec. VP Receives NLC Service Award

The National League of Cities (NLC) bestows its John G. Stutz Award on people who have served 25 years or more on the staff of a state municipal league, state league risk pool, or at NLC. The award is named in honor of John Stutz, who convened representatives of 10 state municipal leagues for the first meeting of what was to become the American Municipal Association and, subsequently, the NLC.

PEP to Host Supervisor Training in the Fall

This opportunity is designed specifically for first-line supervisors and their role in creating a culture of safety. Additional session topics will include the positive impact of effective communication and the importance of motivating your team through constructive leadership while also being a productive manager.

Bill Magoon: A Legacy of Service

Both PEP and its members have benefitted from his expertise and unwavering commitment for an impressive 22 years. PEP Celebrates 43rd Anniversary

In October 1979, the City of Hendersonville and the City of Athens entered into an interlocal agreement to cooperatively manage their claims exposures and costs, which created the entity that today is known as Public Entity Partners (PEP). Our organization was one of the first statewide municipal liability pools established in the nation. Forty-three years later, Public Entity Partners works with more than 500 members representing more than 90% of non-self-insured Tennessee municipalities.

PEP Leadership Changes in Underwriting Department

Two Public Entity Partners team members have been promoted to leadership roles within our organization’s underwriting department. Halie Gallik was named Director of Underwriting and Janine Helton was named Assistant Director of Underwriting, effective October 1st.
