2021 Risk & Insurance Symposium

Please save the date for the 2021 Risk & Insurance Symposium, scheduled for August 25 - 27 at the Cool Springs Marriott in Franklin. This three-day, in-person educational and networking event will provide attendees with courses aimed at local government risk management and touch on emerging risk exposures.

A few of the 2021 Symposium sessions include:

·       The inspiring story of Billy Parker, who has learned to thrive despite experiencing a catastrophic workplace injury resulting in the loss of both arms

·       The road to recovery if your organization is infected by ransomware

·       An update on current events facing law enforcement

·       An employee’s First Amendment rights and employment actions

·       A 2021 legislative update

·       A Bureau of Workers’ Compensation update

Participants who register will automatically be notified when the full agenda is published.

The Symposium is free to attend, and members are welcome to send multiple attendees.

A block of rooms at the Cool Springs Franklin Marriott has been reserved for Symposium participants. The negotiated room rate is $161.00 per night, and is available until Saturday, July 3, or until the room block is filled.
