Bob Lynch, Public Entity Partners’ Middle Tennessee Loss Control Consultant, was a featured speaker at the fourth Middle Tennessee Fire Chiefs Association’s Chief Officer Leadership Workshop.

The Middle Tennessee Fire Chiefs Association is committed to advancing the professionalism and effectiveness of fire service leaders across Tennessee. By offering leadership, education and support to both career and volunteer chiefs, the Association plays a critical role in strengthening emergency services statewide.

With more than 30 years of experience in risk management, insurance and public administration — including 21 years in the fire service, Bob brought a wealth of knowledge to the event. He has also served as a Property Conservation Consultant for PE Partners.

Bob’s background includes 28 years with the City of Cookeville and numerous certifications in fire and emergency services. He holds an A.A.S. in Fire Science Technology and is a licensed paramedic. Bob is also very involved with TnPRIMA, where he served three terms as President and was honored with the PRIMA Chapter Service Award in 2021.

At the workshop, Bob presented “Civil Liability: Preventing Accidents, Injuries & Lawsuits in the Fire Service” —  a session focused on practical strategies for minimizing liability, enhancing safety practices and navigating the complexities of the insurance environment. His presentation offered actionable insights to help fire departments reduce risk and improve operational readiness.

“I’m very impressed with the focus on leadership, continuing education and the development of chief officers,” Bob said.
