Excellence in Risk Management Award Nominations Now Being Accepted

The Public Entity Partners Excellence in Risk Management Award celebrates members who demonstrate outstanding excellence, innovation, creativity, and unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality safety and risk management programs within their entities.

This award recognizes entities of all sizes across separate categories, highlighting individuals or departments who effectively utilize available resources to creatively implement safety initiatives that significantly enhance risk management within their entities.

Risk management practices are integral to all organizational operations. Examples of effective risk management practices include leveraging technology, maintaining proper documentation and repair orders, and initiating a safety committee. 

Purpose

• To recognize an individual, department or organization that exemplifies excellence, innovation and commitment to the risk and insurance field.

Eligibility Criteria

• The nominee must be a current Public Entity Partners member or a full-time employee of a current Public Entity Partners member.
• The nominee must work to further risk management within their entity.
• Nominees can be considered for a specific program or contributions to risk management over time.
• Applications will be reviewed for quality and overall impact on risk management.  

Nominations

• Candidates may self-nominate or be nominated by someone familiar with their contributions.
• Nominations must be submitted electronically here.
• Nominations will be accepted through Friday, Aug. 1, 2025.  
• Awards will be presented on Thursday, Oct. 2, during the 2025 Risk & Insurance Symposium.
