PRIMA Institute Scholarship Winners
- 11/5/2020 8:00 am
This year’s PRIMA Institute (PI), held in October 2020, was a first for two reasons — the event was conducted virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and this new format, which reduced travel and lodging costs, gave PE Partners the opportunity to award a scholarship to all 16 applicants.
Seth Sumner, city manager for the City of Athens, shared, “This was my first time attending PI, and even though the sessions were all virtual, the content was relevant, fresh and engaging. It served as a great reminder that managing risk is everyone’s shared responsibility. I most appreciated Mauricio Velasquez’s session on Unconscious and Conscious Bias — what a timely discussion for us to be having within our organizations!”
PRIMA Institute is a comprehensive risk management educational program designed for both new and experienced risk managers. Topics included risk terminology and insurance coverages, safety committee effectiveness and numerous emerging risk trend topics.
Thank you to everyone who applied for this continuing education opportunity.
