Public Entity Partners Welcomes New Board Members

  • 9/10/2026 8:00 am

Public Entity Partners held our annual Insured Organization Meeting during the Excellence in Risk Management Awards Luncheon at the 2026 Risk & Insurance Symposium.

The meeting gives organizations with active insurance coverage through PEP the opportunity to participate in the Board appointment process when vacancies arise or current members’ terms expire. In accordance with PEP’s bylaws, representatives from at least 20 percent of insured organizations were required to participate to establish a quorum. We are pleased to share that quorum was met.

During the meeting, insured organizations confirmed the appointments of two new members to PEP’s Board of Directors:

  • Tony Massey, City Manager – City of Columbia
  • Ronnie Neill, Mayor – Town of Somerville

Board members volunteer their time, knowledge and experience to help guide the direction of PEP. Their responsibilities include approving the annual budget, authorizing rate, dividend and coverage changes and establishing financial objectives through policies related to investments and capital adequacy.

The newly appointed members begin their terms later this year and will help advance PEP’s mission of partnering with Tennessee governmental entities to provide effective risk management products and services with a commitment to members’ best interests.

Please join us in congratulating Mr. Massey and Mr. Neill on their appointments to PEP’s Board of Directors.
