Stayin' Alive in '25: Strengthening Municipal Partnerships at TAMCAR

Chester Darden, Public Entity Partners’ Director of Loss Control, was a featured speaker at the Spring 2025 Conference of the Tennessee Association of Municipal Clerks and Recorders (TAMCAR), held April 23-25, at the Embassy Suites in Murfreesboro. TAMCAR is a professional organization dedicated to the advancement of Tennessee’s municipal clerks.

Darden’s “The Outward Mindset” presentation offered insight on how shifting perspective can improve collaboration and innovation.

“We had a great time connecting with city recorders and municipal clerks at the TAMCAR spring conference,” said Kelley Wandell, PEP’s East Tennessee Member Services Representative. “The ‘70s-themed event, ‘Stayin’ Alive in ’25,’ was a fun and well-attended gathering with informative sessions. We truly valued the opportunity to engage with our members, strengthen relationships, and hear about the challenges and successes they’re experiencing.”

Loss Control Specialist, Tahtia Mitchell, who oversees our grants and scholarships programs, also attended the conference.

While exhibiting at the conference, Wandell and Mitchell connected with attendees and discussed Catastrophic Medical Coverage, our Risk & Insurance Symposium, and upcoming grants and scholarships.
