Tennessee Association of Housing and Redevelopment Agencies' (TAHRA) Spring Conference

The Tennessee Association of Housing and Redevelopment Authorities (TAHRA) held its spring conference April 21-25 at the Embassy Suites in Murfreesboro.

Approximately 72 housing and redevelopment authorities, which included hundreds of staff members, took part in the conference. Attendees had the option to participate in multiple education tracks throughout the conference.

In addition to the educational sessions, hands-on demonstrations and training provided, TAHRA celebrated its 85th anniversary with a beautiful black-tie gala. During the gala, awards were presented to multiple executive directors and housing authorities across the state.

• Large – Jackson Housing Authority

Executive Director of the Year

• Small – Toywana Mays, Lexington Housing Authority
• Medium – Michael Bates, Gallatin Housing Authority
• Large – Dr. Troy D. White, MDHA
