Public Entity Partners (PEP) is pleased to announce the addition of Michael Foster to our risk management team as the East Tennessee casualty loss control consultant. With an impressive background in public service, Michael brings invaluable expertise to our organization.

Prior to joining PEP, Michael served as a county commissioner for Anderson County Government and held the position of city manager at the City of Rocky Top, showcasing his exceptional leadership skills and commitment to public welfare.

In his new role, Michael plays a pivotal part in interpreting and mitigating risks for a wide range of entities, including municipalities, utilities, schools, housing authorities and other public agencies. His primary objective is to recommend and implement effective solutions for our members, ensuring cost-effective coverage that aligns with their specific needs.

Additional responsibilities include conducting thorough site surveys and evaluations of member operations. This involves reviewing policies, assessing facilities, and closely observing work crews and processes to identify potential risks and recommend appropriate risk management strategies.

"I am genuinely thrilled to be part of the PEP team,” Michael said. “Having previously collaborated with this organization during my tenure at the City of Rocky Top, I have witnessed firsthand the tremendous value that a casualty loss control consultant can provide in terms of cost savings and essential information. I am genuinely excited to make a meaningful difference for our members."

Michael lives in Clinton with his wife, Katie, 9-year-old son, Tate, and twin 4-year-old daughters, Graylin and Denton. He is a member of the Clinton Rotary Club and serves on the board of the North Anderson Boys & Girls Club. In his spare time, he likes to golf, fish, and spend time with friends and family.
