We are less than three months away from Public Entity Partners’ Risk & Insurance Symposium, to be held Aug. 23-25 at the Franklin Marriott Cool Springs. This three-day event is open to all PE Partners members and agents.

At PE Partners, we believe that everyone within an organization is responsible for that entity’s risk management and safety. We want every employee to end each workday safely and free from injuries and accidents. The Risk & Insurance Symposium is designed to provide risk management and safety training topics aimed at reducing injuries and accidents, as well as liability exposures.

From cyber security to safe driving practices to law enforcement apprehension, the Symposium offers three days of sessions from which to choose, along with networking opportunities with your risk management peers from across the state.

Hotel information and frequently asked questions are available on our website. Although the agenda and CMFO credits have not yet been finalized, we will be announcing those soon via PEPartners.org and our PartnersNews monthly e-newsletter.

Some of the topics to be covered this year include Mutual Aid vs. Interlocal Agreements, Workers’ Compensation: Catastrophic Claims; Conflict Management: A New View on an Old Topic; Defensive Driving Problems, Solutions, and Resources; as well as a special topic to be presented by the Tennessee Highway Patrol with their K-9 officers’ assistance.

If you have questions about the Symposium, please contact: Heather Sturtz at 615-371-0049 or HSturtz@PEPartners.org.
