Law Enforcement “Legal and Liability Risk Management Institute” Scholarship applications are currently being accepted. This reimbursement program provides funding for law enforcement professionals to attend the three-day Police Risk Management Conference, to be held April 29 - May 1 in Franklin, Tennessee. This conference is presented by the Legal and Liability Risk Management Institute (LLRMI) and co-sponsored by PE Partners.

As a result of law enforcement’s unfavorable public image, state legislatures and the U.S. Congress are considering and passing measures that impact the high-risk, critical tasks of police work. Because more officers are criminally charged in use of force events than at any other time in the history of modern policing, law enforcement risk management has never been more critical.

Managing risk in today's environment not only protects civil liability, but may also save officers from potential criminal charges and the loss of their jobs.

This conference will focus on how officers can manage risk and reduce civil and criminal liability, and how agencies can better control civil liability. For more information on this event, CLICK HERE

Public Entity Partners will be awarding six individual scholarships to attend the conference. Applications are available on our website or by clicking HERE. Completed applications must be submitted by Jan. 26, 2024. Winning scholarship recipients will be notified the week of Jan. 30.
