The City of Spring Hill hosted “A Day for Safety” for several municipalities last month. Presentations were hosted on topics such as cyber security, personal accountability and worksite safety.

Trench-Related Fatalities on the Rise

OSHA recently reported a significant increase in U.S. trench-related fatalities in the first six months of 2022. During this time period, 22 workers were killed, while 15 fatalities occurred in all of 2021.

Risk Library Updates Available in Member Portal

Public Entity Partners’ member portal on our website provides access to numerous helpful resources, including our risk library. We have recently added three new loss control guidelines to the risk library and have updated a few others. These guidelines are designed to address common risk exposures, including legal references/guides, along with model policies and samples we have developed or received from some of our members.

Volunteer Exposures for Entities
