Grants & Scholarships Kickoff

As we begin the new fiscal year, we also begin opening our Grants & Scholarships applications! Learn about the opportunities available over the next two months and keep an eye out for more opportunities throughout the remainder of the year.

2026 Risk & Insurance Symposium Scholarship

Public Entity Partners is proud to continue offering a scholarship opportunity for members to attend the 2026 Risk & Insurance Symposium.

We recognize that travel and budget constraints can make professional development difficult for many local government employees. To help ease that burden, we are awarding 20 individual $500 scholarships to qualifying members to support attendance at this year’s conference.

Eligible reimbursable expenses include:

• Hotel accommodations
• Mileage

Please note: This is a reimbursement-based program. Selected recipients must submit paid receipts, invoices or other proof of expenses before funds are disbursed.

As a condition of accepting the scholarship, each recipient will serve as the official voting delegate for their entity during the PEP Board of Directors election on Thursday, Aug. 27.

Applications will be accepted through Friday, July 24.

Judy Housley Safety Partners Grant

The Judy Housley Safety Partners Grant is currently accepting applications through Friday, Aug. 14.

The goal of this grant is to keep our members’ employees injury-free by providing them with the proper safety equipment and training. Please note that this grant is only available to members with workers’ compensation coverage.

PRIMA Institute Scholarship

PE Partners’ PRIMA Institute Scholarship will accept applications July 13-31.

PRIMA Institute (PI26) is an educational program for new and seasoned risk professionals who seek to learn more about emerging trends and best practices, and gain insight into current management techniques.

PE Partners will reimburse three selected recipients up to $2,000 each to attend the PI26 in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, from Oct. 19-23. To learn more about PI26, please click here. For more information regarding the PE Partners scholarship, click here.

Property Conservation Grant

The Property Conservation Grant opens on Monday, July 27, and will close on Friday, Sept. 18.

This grant provides funding for property loss prevention and control items, such as lightning protection, security fencing, security cameras and more. To be eligible to receive this grant, your organization must carry its property insurance through PE Partners. Learn more about this grant here.

TN PRIMA State Conference Scholarship

The TN PRIMA State Conference Scholarship opens on Monday, Aug. 10, and will close on Monday, Aug. 31.

This scholarship provides support for members to attend the TN PRIMA Conference and aims to promote professional public risk management by providing greater education, training and peer networking opportunities to risk managers, safety directors and other staff with risk management responsibilities. 

PE Partners will award six scholarships, reimbursing up to $600 in financial assistance each for qualified individuals to attend the 2026 Tennessee Public Risk Management Association (TN PRIMA) State Conference from Nov. 18-20. More information regarding this scholarship will be available closer to its launch.

Our Grants & Scholarships program is designed to provide financial assistance to our members, enabling them to acquire safety and loss prevention tools, equipment and services to reduce claims.
