Introducing Our New Claims Manager Michele Fassbender

Public Entity Partners is proud to announce the addition of Michele Fassbender to our staff. She will serve as PEP’s Claims Manager, leading and overseeing our claims department operations while providing support to members and her team.

Michele received her undergraduate degree in sociology from Tulane University and her law degree from the Mississippi College School of Law, and has been licensed to practice law for 28 years. She most recently worked at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. as a consultant, where she was tasked with helping PEP through our acquisition of the claims department. Before joining A.J. Gallagher & Co., Michele served in several roles at State Auto Mutual Insurance Company for 13 years, including Vice President of Legal for Claims and Risk Engineering and Managing Attorney for the Nashville law office.

In addition to her degree and years of experience, she is a Rule 31 Certified Mediator and Certified Litigation Specialist.

Born in Birmingham, Alabama, Michele was raised in Gulf Breeze, Florida, before attending college. She currently resides in Hendersonville and enjoys watching her son, Sam (19), play baseball, and spending time with friends and family, boating and traveling.

“My entire career has been focused on insurance and risk management from the claims and litigation perspective,” she said. “I’m passionate about resolving claims and providing the best outcomes for our members.”
